Business Analyst (Market Data)

Time Market Data is part of the Advanced Data Services (ADS) group at Euronext. This role will be a

As a Data Analyst, Real Time Market Data, you will report to the Head of Commercial Management Real
Time Market Data, and work in an international environment with the Advanced Data Services team
spread across Amsterdam, Lisbon, London, Milan, Oslo and Paris and with clients worldwide.
You will have a diverse role dedicated to and at the center of the Market Data business. You will be
expected to make yourself quickly familiar with the market data front- and back-office tools, the market
data industry and market data operations and licensing models.
With your enthusiasm and pro-active and hands-on approach you will help bring our market data
environment to a higher level. You will have a deep understanding of the client data, provide data
analysis and reports and ensure that the market data front- and back-office tools support client’s needs
internally and externally.

Your tasks

• Be responsible for the market data front- and back-office tools (INFOmatch Revenue
Management and the MyMarketData client portal) including writing business requirements,
conducting testing, maintain user specifications and user support.
• In collaboration with business operations and licensing, ensure we have an accurate and
detailed understanding of our client usage of our data and the relevant trends
• Support the achievement of BAU revenue targets through monthly monitoring of licence
subscriptions and end users
• Support the implementation / integration of new strategic initiatives in close cooperation with
internal project teams, finance, regulation, and other key stakeholders.
• Take an active role during project assignment.
• Document administrative business processes and (internal and external) policies.
• Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships, update other functions (operations,
compliance, licensing management, or other business units/teams) of relevant changes and
support other functions relating to the market data tools
• Contribute to positive internal and external client relationships and understand the business
needs of internal and external stakeholders, formulate the right questions and find an answer
through analysis. Furthermore, translate the analysis to concept proposals, including
accompanying business requirements, through collaboration (with other teams, business units
and/or external partners).
• Create overviews/management reports.

Your profile
• University degree (business administration, economics).
• A minimum of 2 years’ relevant functional work experience e.g. consultancy, (business) analyst,
database management, etc.
• Great verbal and written communication skills and excellent social/people skills required to
engage with independent contributors from various functional and business areas.
• Fluent written and verbal communication in English required.
• Confident and energetic team player, but able to work independently.
• Experience in product driven and/or technology driven environment is a strong preference.
• Able to rapidly develop and maintain a good understanding of the market data industry and
• Good problem resolution skills, natural curiosity and self-motivation to learn.
• Ambitious, hands-on mentality, ownership of work and commitment to delivery.
• Track record of delivering on commitments and producing high quality work.
• Ability to be creative as well as analytical.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Organized, flexible and able to set priorities and perform under pressure.
• Great business acumen and commercial awareness.
